Matrix Package is a Java package for working with matrices. Matrix Package is a Java package for working with matrices. This package does most of what you would want a matrix package to do, but is optimsed to working with the 4x4 matrices used in 3D graphics. The Matrix class provides a generalised 2-dimensional matrix package. Matrices are treated as values wherever possible, so matrix operations such as multiplication produce a new matrix as the result, rather than operate directly on the matrix. This package is optimised towards the 4x4 transformation matrices which can be used for 3D projections. There are a number of class methods for generating transformation matrices.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
